Overheating problem...advice?
You can download free repair manuals from honda-tech.com just do a search for one there Im sure youll find it. Or alot of times they have alot of write ups from people having the same problem before and doing a write up as they fix it. Its just a great site for alot of projects.

Ah, sorry I haven't updated. Still no circulation so T-stat works fine. Getting my water pump replaced monday and also replacing the Timing Belt since it's a good time to do that anyway. Thanks for the help guys.
So if I am understanding, you say that since it gets hot but will not
yet circulate water, that the t-stat is working fine?
Please let us know if the new water pump will circulate it any better when it gets hot..........................We are all waiting for *those* results.
and BTW, how much does a water pump sell for?-Bob

you might as well replace the cam seals and crank seals while you at it also. Depending on miliage and if there not leaking why not do them anyways. Thats if this was my car of course. Usally if there not leaking I don't recommend them anyways. Its up to you I guess.
Well today's the big day, dropped it off this morning and they said it should be done about 3-4PM. O and I'm also replacing the cam and crank seals so thanks 1.6L for recommending that because I didn't even think of it. Well we'll see what happens later if the water pump was the problem :/ Thanks for the help guys and I'll be sure to update ASAP

Well here's the big update. Problem....supposably fixed :/
The guy at the shop said the water pump was circulating the water but was leaking so it needed replacing anyway. But he pointed out the fan wasn't working when it was supposed too. I told him I knew about that problem but my big problem was that I wasn't getting any circulation and he said that the T-stat won't open until that fan kicks on (I thought the sensor was after the T-stat and it had to open for the fan to kick on, also what MY mechanic told me) so it was contradicting what my mechanic was saying. Anyway he said I'm going to drive hot no matter what till I get the fan fixed. But before today, before I got the water pump replaced I would run hot like in 10-15 minutes. Well I drove it home (15-20 minute drive) then let it sit for about 15 minutes, then drove it around again for about 15-20 more minutes.....it's not getting hot...AT ALL
But it looks like even though it seems like I'm getting circulation now the fan still doesn't kick on at all, so I'm looking to replace that sensor tomorrow.
All in all.....looks like I'm pretty happy so far.
EDIT - What else could stop the fan from working? Because both of them turn on with the AC on so I know it's not the motor, so I figured it could be the sensor.
