Default Civic type rBoosted question?

I have a b16b motor swaped into my 93 delsol. In about a few month I would like to boost it but for those of you who dont kknow THE CTR Motor has a very high compression ratio. I was warned not to take it over 8-9 psi, but I would love to boost in the 15-20 range but I would blow the motor from what I have heard. Any input on this? Plus would swapping my pistons for ls pistons lower my compression?

i was just talking the basics, but yea, new bearings, and gaskets are a good idea too. as well as a new water pump.

LS pistons will not bring the compression down enough for the power levels you want to acheive, the easiest and safest way to accomplish this is using forged pistons and rods.

With a good tuner and all the right parts however, I believe you can get that stock motor up to 260whp-270whp.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.

You can get that stock motor past 270WHP. My teg is stock motor and is making 350ish WHP

Just do 9 PSI and a 30-50 shot and enjoy the set up. If not just buy the forged internals from CMS

Forged internals will be the safest way and let you sleep easy at night.
