GSR in LS
you'd only want oil squirters if you're working with the stock cast pistons/rods. with forged pistons and rods, they get rid of heat so well, the oil squirters basically just take a few oil pressure psi.

i like when people don't take my advice.cause then i make more money when u need it rebuild the right way!
how many speed holes do i need in my bumper,b4 i can run 15's?

I wouldn't run oil squirter with a forged internals motor myself. But what do I know!

basically what it all boils down to is you can put all GSR internals in an LS block, and have a de-stroked LS.... Kinda pointless if you ask me... Now on the other hand, you can also put all LS internals into a GSR block, and have a poor mans stroker motor... great for making a little more torque down low

Oil squirters serve no lubrication purpose at all, they are simply there to cool cast pistons. Forged pistons dissipate heat so well it is not needed, blocking them off gives a gain in oil pressure at higher rpms where it is needed.

puttin the LS crank and rods in a gsr does actually work very well and is NOT the poor mans way. Honda cranks are the best, period. Its actually the best way to stroke a motor. Its exactly what gary gardela's $300,000 race team engineers did to his motor. And for the recors they actually remove the oil squiters from race motors because the oil hitting the piston actually slows it down. Makes more power and runs better at higher RPMs without them.
