Default 450whp sohc...

ok, so i know a bit about sohc seeing as how i own one, and i talked to a guy today who owned a crx. i asked him what he had in it. he said, and i quote"a crx with a d16a6 engine, sleeved, forged pistons on h beams, etc etc.... turbo" i asked him how much boost...he said 34 psi...i was like, no f####in way. he claims to have 450 WHP. wonding if this is possible...or if that much boost on a sohc is possible without seriously fkin up your motor. i dont think it is gona last long, even if he did everything right. just looking for opinions on if anyone here thinks this is a feasable project or hes blowing hot air out of his ass.

i mean, stock comes with 108 hp right? on the si motor. then that would mean like 90 to the wheels or so? so hes getting 360 from the turbo? just seems like a sohc wouldnt be able to handle that is all...w/o cracking the head or block or something.

Boost usually adds average 10-15 HP per pound of boost. So average of 12.5 PSI per pound he's looking at 425 WHP on boost alone! This isn't including the motor. So I call BS pretty much. But, it could be.

The displacement of a 2.2 to a 1.6 makes a world of difference man!! The H22 on 34 PSI should see alot more than 550 as well!
