450whp sohc...
Possible, yes, but a big expensive build, and even with the strongest internals you can buy, that block won't last too long, making 5 times it's designed power.
I think that guy is full of bullshit, unless I see pics and a dyno sheet, I won't believe it.
I mean making 400+hp on a SOHC is one thing, but boosting 34psi is another.

THANK YOU. that is what i was thinking. 4x the normal hp on that a6 block and all the money he put into it...he should have gone dohc for reliabilty and less strain on the motor. just my .02 though

ya if it is true, i really dont think that motor will last very long. it would take a miracle to hold that motor together for a long time. if i was him i would buy dohc or install jesus or god himself in that sohc.
lol
lol
450 whp 36psi?
i mean, its not the power, its the boost hes running. my sohc has like 2** but i only push like 10 psi, and i worry about that. 36 psi is insane i thought for a sohc.

dang, u should find that guy cause i want to run him. i have 40 psi on my z6... lolz... hahahaha thats funny sh!ts man. its a lot of $$$ pushin 15 psi on a dohc let alone building a sohc to handle that pressure...
not my friend, some guy in a parking lot, didnt even drive his crx, i wouldnt have a friend who has such outrageous claims. stock block, said it was resleeved, forged pistons and rods....stock head...he said ported and polished....36 psi. thats all he gave me. thats why thats all i said. as far as i know hes saying he has a stock a6 head, ported and polished, with a resleeved block, didnt say what kind. also no specifics on pistons and rods...thats why i call "bullshit".

well its pretty surpising what the single cams are capable of which is reason number 2032 why I love the single cams. My last motor was just a stock vavletrain with minor work done to the head. Port matched the intake manifold to 62 mm. Ran a dry shot converted to wet system. jets equaled 100shot of nitrous. Stock y8 y5 y7 blocks. I went through 4 blocks on this but they hold up. I blew them up just experiementing on them over reving mainly. But could out run anything on the street. Nothing more then a stock single cam motor spraying 100 shot of nitrous. ACT clutch and a flawless crx si tranny. Pretty impressive the d series motors can be. Which is why iam selling my lsvtec build and 1.6 block and a gsr hydro tranny for a d series build.
hint hint. FOR SALE>
Ive seen single cams with a 1in. plate, sc61. Not really all fimliar with terms of the turbo or turbos. But 800cc injectors. Clamied to have 800whp. And it did look and drive like it had 800hp. If you guys would have seen this you would have seen this you would have been in all out AW! So iam saying the single cams are just as good as any dual over head.
