IMO, stroking the b16a is the worst idea I have ever heard. your taking an engine that loves to rev and making it NOT rev. I would sleeve the b16a to 84mm-85mm and use endyne pistons and LS rods. 1.9L that can safely be rev'd to 10k.

look at some all motor race cars, run somewhere around low 10's and have displacements around 2600cc or a Bseries with 2400cc and rev to around 8K and still turn low 10sec runs.

yes and they have sleeved engines with 1"+ deckplates allowing them to still run long rods for a good rod to stroke ratio.

Ls crank, ls rods rebushed for a small pin and the tech 43 pistons in 82mm will give you close to a 1.9L with a R/S of 1.54. Not a bad sleeper setup, everyone will think it is a 1.6L.

I don't see a problem with this setup, not sure on the mileage that ring package can handle though before needing to be re-ringed.

just get a LS crank, bore walls to 82mm, throw some forged pistons in it, and there, you have a 1.9L.

a ls crank can not work in a b16block do to its larger balance and rotaion 1 it will hit the oilsqarters and not clear just like putting a ls crank in a gsr just less room
