i have a 88 crx i just has a sohc in it but i cant find out why it will not stop breaking up and it does not throw eney codes at all some say dizzy some say fuel filter some say injectors i can figer it out can some won help thanks

 

do a standard tune up on the car!

tell us what you have done so far to stop the problem and we might be able to help

 

ive got a b18 in my hatch and it would break up at full throttle 90 % of the time so today i did an oil change and went to start it up and it was running real bad to make a long story short the dizzy cap and rotor went bad so i put new ones on and now it runs perfect

 

i havent done eny thing but put the motor in and changed the oil tell me what to do and ill do it if i bearly give it gas it will go onley if i eas in to it but if i floor it ijust breakes up for like 4 seconds but then it goes then like 3 sec later it breaks up some more so i just let out

 

first i would do a tune up as most of our swaps arent brand new, they are rather old in fact.;

1. ngk plugs
2. ngk wires
3. new distributor cap
4. new rotor for distributor
5. change fuel filter on firewall
6. check TPS voltage in accordance with manual
7. check timing with manual also


this should set the truth free.
