Breaking in sucks
i picked up the bike yesterday (silver 636). had to drive it all the way from clearwater to tampa. mostly kept the revs under 6000, and i stayed out of sixth gear. going across the courtney campell bridge going 60 on a sportbike is NOT fun. i've never been passed by so many cars in my life. breaking in is not fun.

BWAHAHA dude that sucks.... I had to go like 50 in my car for a while bc I had a spare on... and if I was on a bike i would literally be freaking out if cars were passing me lol

Your not doing yourself any favors by your choice of break in method. Go to www.mototuneusa.com, read they site and the thought process behind the theory and make up your own mind.

i broke mine in pretty hard and the bike is running awesome. I would definately read the article.
