You are getting ripped off man.... I paid $900 for CP pistons WITH RINGS, Eagle H Beams WITH the ARP big bolt ( 3/8 ) rod bolts, AND a complete bearing kit (Rods, mains, and thrust washers)

Let me know if you want the hookup

Sounds like a pretty good deal, im just waiting for my uncle to take apart the shortblock to tell me if the crank is salvagable or if it's FUBAR. If it's good ill go ahead and buy everything, if not ill want to find a crank before i do anything else. Know of any local places, or trusted websites that have decent prices on Turbo kits. I'm looking for probably something like a Disco Potato or the usual T3/T4. Nothing crazy like a SC61 or anything.

Im trying to keep my shortblock build around $1500 and under and the turbo kit if im lucky under 2g's for all the hardware. I figure ill need about $700 for a new clutch as well.

you guy are comparing 2 totally different kinds of pistons. SRP's have a high silicone content built into them thus allowing you to run a tighter piston to wall clearance but theyre not as strong as a fully forged piston. the expansion rates on an SRP piston are much less than most other aftermarkets which can definitely be a good thing in a motor that is meant to run for than 10k miles at a time w/o a rebuild....i can keep going on and on comparing different kinds of pistons but my mind moves a lot faster than my fingers and im sick of typing
