Also, i've been told that i should just use the stock rod/main bearings from Honda. I will also be using a block gaurd. The motor will not be bored, only honed and hot tanked. I afraid if I make the cylinder walls any thinner i would have to have it re-sleeved, which im trying to avoid. Well enough rambling, would this setup be on the safe side, im looking to overbuild this motor for what hp i am wanting to run.
Stay away from the srp pistons , I have heard bad things about them.

I've seen your car at the track and I know your car is putting down way more than im wanting to. Are you using the same 9:1 pistons??

Also the price i got on the rods included ARP rod bolts. And the price of the pistons didn't include rings, those are $99 for the set.

I have read some bad post's on honda-tech about them. That is all i'am saying. Personally if it was me, i'd save up and spend a good amount of money buying good/well known/trusted parts.

I ran SRP pistons in my last motor and they held up just fine... They survived a hell of alot of detonation, and numerous top end runs where everything tends to heat up much more than normal...

I did however go with CPs for my new build just because they are suppose to be a better product, and I got a hell of a deal on them....
