Default reflashing the ecu

i was wondering what reflashing your ecu does... my friend told me that itll most likely give me more power because ive done mods to my car since ive had it... can i reflash it on my own or do i need to take it to a shop to be done? if i can do it on my own then how?

i think he means reprogramming. youll need a chipped ecu to do that tho...

yes, you must take it to a shop. Ill do it for $20. Its very delicate

would resetting my ecu fix any problems or give me any gains in power?
