I had a feeling it was the ecu/ vtec engagement problem. I had a pr3 but it ran like shit with it plugged in, it like retarted the timing big time compared to the pr4. I got another question. When wiring the pr3, Theres a green sensor off the back of the block, can i use that for the knock sensor? and does anyone have a link to where to wire everything else? Thanks -Ben

Ok this might sound stupid but I thought that there was a oil press sensor on the vtec solenoids? I have a 01' Gsr head, do they not use the oil press sensor? If so, what could I do to bypass this because a pr3 will not kick vtec in if it sees no oil press. Someone ever had this problem? Let me know how to get around it. thanks -Ben

I didnt think VTEC solenoids would differ between eachother, but if Im understanding this right, why dont you just get an OBD-0 vtec solenoid? I would think that EVERYTHING should be converted to obd0 obviously...
