Tuning wouldnt cause a spike. My only guess is using one vacuum source (FPR) for multiple things which caused the boost controller to not get a pressure reading quick enough. Why his management's boostcut didnt work is beyond me. Oh well. What's done is done.

Traction loss surely played a major issue in this, by causing boost to come in to quick for the sbc to react, due to it not having a good vacuum source, which is my fault... But I will have to speak to Blake to find out why the boost cut on UD didnt work... I knew something was up when it got a little louder than usual and was trying to change lanes on me at 100mph, but I didnt think anything of it because I trusted the boost cut... Oh well, you live and you learn... This just means I have to get the new motor done, and installed a little quicker... I hope to have at least the bottom end built and running within a month.... Depends on a couple companies and how busy they are, but I dont think it will be much of a problem...

Alpha, thanks for your help today and the documentary... You got to see a side of me a LOT of people will never see... I swear I wanted to cry, and if it werent for having 4 hot beyotches at my house watching me, I would have...

And I also have to thank JapDanny for his help with this... Despite what everyone else says about him, and what hes done, he's still been there for me to help me out through the years I have known him...

One thing I do want to add, is my stock rods survived.... I think my motor came with some kinda freaky rods that are the one in a million set, and I will eventually find them a home in a new motor to see how far I can take them....

As for now, you guys have fun and I will stand on the sidelines for moral support, but I will be back soon... very soon.....

By the way, the car actually started, and held an idle on its own in the condition you see it in... I couldve actually driven the car home, but I towed it with my truck just to prevent further damage since i didnt know exactly what was wrong at the time...

I have a great idea.....instead of the "I spin till 4th gear" posts....buy some good tires!

Then get with me on the gators that have been on the back burner for a while now. Get a quaife, get some BFG Drag's, then let me know where you spin till

Good luck man, if you need anything you know who to call at 3am

Kris

No problem. If you need any help just give me a call. You handled it better than I would of. That's why people are different
