i just wanted to get peoples opinions on different sleeve companies ... if you got your blocks sleeved by what companie and the turn around time, the quality of the work, any problems and price . thanks

...and yes ive google searched and i have spoken to alot of companies but id rather hear from the people that got the work done ..

 

Chavez Motorsports can do it for you through Golden Eagle with there race sleeves (Holds 70+ PSI) Ron (qitstrn) is running the same sleeves (bought them through us as well) and is making 500+ WHP.

JFWY Kris, I was gonna go with GE on my Type R turbo project but now i've decided to build my Cobra and put the Type R together as an all motor daily driver, with a lil bit of spray

Haha...GE's customer service sucks. There old sleeves sucked and sank alot, but their new sleeving process seems to be working better. I would recommend Bensons. Go on Honda-tech.com and search for the user "Earl". He does the Benson builds and I would go that route. My .02 cents.

 

yea i just got off the phone with ge and they say theres a new sleeve out called "hd" and can hold 70 psi , for $940 hot tanked ,bored +honed +shippings free ,2-3 week turn around time .

 

i just got off the phone with earl - benson sleeves are $950+ $50 return shipping ,that also includes final bore and hone +hot tanking with a 3 week turn around time , also just thought id mention he was very nice and answered all my questions plus he said if anything is wrong with the sleeves that hell warentee it wich is a plus. thanks 60-1ek for pointing me his way.

 

Go with Benson's for sure even if the cost is a little more.
