Im going with benson here to much bad shit about golden eagle

 

I have decided that I may be using Benson's on my new build since the price has gone down soooo much... And you gotta love the bling bling they add to the front of the block

They machine their name on the front of the block under the engine code... Looks pretty bad ass...

 

 

thas cool i didnt know that if somebody asks is that a b18c say no its a "benson" haha watch there face like huh ...

is there a specific benson dealer that does that ? im not sure if the guy i spoke to is the benson dealer or a shop that installs there sleeves ?

 

This is my experience.

A while back I had sent my B16a to be resleeved, align bored, honed, decked and o-ringed by Golden Eagle Mfg. Customer service was great. The only problem was the bore was a little larger than I had asked for with my piston to wall and they forgot to o-ring the block. I called them and they picked up the shipping both ways so they could o-ring the block. Right now the new owner is having some overheating problems but I am not going to point fingers ... Yet. I will know more in about a month or so.

The Golden Eagle Mfg. HD design looks good. I dont know if their customer service has gone down hill or stayed the same. 60-1EK says their customer service has gone down hill and I trust what he says.

Benson/Earl sleeving process also looks good. I have talked to Earl on the phone multiple times. I can say Benson and Earl's customer service is top notch.

I'm starting to like ERL allot as well but I wont comment on them at this time. Try giving them a call (812.948.8484) and ask for Sean.

 

What was his name? At this point in time I think Earl Laskey is Benson's sole dealer (no pun intended).
