at first i wanted to stay all ls but after my block rebuild i was amazed at what a piston job can do. my motor pulls awsome through-out all rpm ranges. but top end isnt the greatest but then again, ive beated plenty of b16 rex's hatches and a few other i really shouldnt have beaten. that why im gonna go vtec instead of building my head. theres nothing live vtec especially in a rex. good luck with the build and mayve whn i get my done we can go at it.

if you get the lsvtec dowel pin kit get the head gasket that is pre drilled as well. the only what the ls block and vtec head is true bolt up kit is if you get the dowl pins and head gasket from golden eagle. even then the dowels dont go in easy. ive used them.
