i'd start with pistons/rods, then get the block sleeved. then i'd work on that crank! as far as the head goes i'd start with the valvetrain, then some nice boost cams, and a nice porting job never hurt anyone, and that's a good a start as any.

It depends where you want to start. You can start with the head or you can start with the block. I would recommend CP 9:1 or ENDYN 9.5:1 pistons, Eagle rods, OEM head gasket, ARP head studs, all new belts/pumps/gaskets, exhaust manifold (One Fabrication, Full Race, Love Fab), Precision GT35E, Precision AS 1026 intercooler, TiAL 38mm wastegate, 3" downpipe or 2.5" to 3" downpipe, 2.5" intercooler pipes, TiAL blowoff valve, Super Tech or Port Flow valve springs/retainers and if you have the money (which I assume you do) AEBS or Benson sleeves.

If you want to protect the huge investment you are getting ready to make, the first thing I would do is throw that factory oil pump gear in the garbage and get a Pro-Drive or equivalent. I used AEBS sleeves in my race motor. Excellent product and they are great people. I prefer Manley when it comes to rods and valves, again i am bias, due to this is what i run myself. Also, if you get the AEBS sleeves, they will get you a good price on Ross pistons.

Does Edelbrock make an intake manifold for the H22 though? The only companies off the top of my head are Skunk2, Golden Eagle Mfg. and a couple companies that contract Golden Eagle Mfg. to make their intake manifolds. If I had the money I would get the Golden Eagle Mfg. intake manifold hands down.

I would not use Eagle Rods in any Honda motor that will see over 400whp... Ive heard the horror stories and seen the pics to prove it.. If you are looking for 500+ whp, I suggest AEBS sleeves ( they are the most expensive but I think theyre the best, who else tests their sleeves for 55psi + ?), and everything else above I pretty much agree with... We can discuss this one day this week and make out a list to meet your goals within your budget......

I second you . I have seen pics of motors destroyed by eagle rods. Also, they are made in China by communists.
