Just as a follow up to this post....... We had the block over nighted to Golden Eagle ($133.36 + $40 for a custom crate) to rush it back out to Ron. When Golden Eagle go it it was checked over for defects. The defects that were found were as follows...The cylinders were bored and honed out of round (miss shaped) and it decked .002 inches wrong thus allowing the oil and coolant to mix. Also the boring, honing and decking were done after we sold the block to Ron.

This is not to point fingers, this post is only to note the Chavez Motorsports sold a good block and it was messed up after it was sold.....so PLEASE do not take this the wrong way. Ron is a good guy and we were in the dark about it just like he was. Hey everyone makes mistakes....even machines shops So go kick there asses Ron!!!

On a lighter note, Ron is getting Golden Eagles newest sleeves only available to there race teams currently :o Which are good for 70+ PSI.....Also we are getting Ron all work done at cost. Hopefully it'll be up and nastier than ever!

So in all, we're $175 out of pocket and got a wholesale account with Golden Eagle.....Anyone need some sleeves
