The defects that were found were as follows...The cylinders were bored and honed out of round (miss shaped) and it decked .002 inches wrong thus allowing the oil and coolant to mix. Also the boring, honing and decking were done after we sold the block to Ron.

This is not to point fingers, this post is only to note the Chavez Motorsports sold a good block and it was messed up after it was sold.....so PLEASE do not take this the wrong way. Ron is a good guy and we were in the dark about it just like he was. Hey everyone makes mistakes....even machines shops So go kick there asses Ron!!!

On a lighter note, Ron is getting Golden Eagles newest sleeves only available to there race teams currently :o Which are good for 70+ PSI.....Also we are getting Ron all work done at cost. Hopefully it'll be up and nastier than ever!

So in all, we're $175 out of pocket and got a wholesale account with Golden Eagle.....Anyone need some sleeves
I appreciate Chavez motorsports standing behind the block they sold me. Unfortunately GE is taking their time fixing it so it will be shipped back around the 29th of this month. My head gasket was sealed perfectly and had good compression. So Ge is full of shit. The sleave was leaking at the bottom. If the block had the problems that they stated it would have had different symtoms. Thats all water under the bridge though. The one thing i learned from this is dont buy a honda block from someone that drives an RX-7. I should have know better. The pinnochio should have warned me.
