Sohc Turbo or Dohc N/A???
I threw a home made turbo kit together for 300 dollars, but ive ran into alot of problems with spinning bearings and detonation. its all in the fuel managment and tuning. i never put it on the dyno because it never lasted long enough to make it there. -Ben

I have a SOHC Turbo setup. Done properly (way too much money) to accomodate high boost.
w/8 psi, 135 WHP(on dyno)
I have added a boost controller & plan on re-tuning the E-Manage soon. I currently run @ 10-11 psi w/no issues. Hoping to get up to >15 psi when it gets back on the Dyno. This is my daily driver, so I'm in no rush to attain light speed.
Although better than a stock DOHC setup, the cost was too much when compared to a B16 swap.
I have to say though, when someone w/a coffee can runs up my backside on the highway & I downshift. It's priceless when they take the very next exit.
Just realize that a proper Turbo setup costs alot of time & money.
