LT1 help needed
thanks b4c for the pressure plate and throwout bearing... and much appreciated
so for on the put together ive busted two bolts holding the pressure plate on its says bolt down to 52 lbs i put it on 50 and still managed to fuck them up.... looks like its guna have to get drilled out what a pain in my dick

Thats because you fucked up your research on finding the correct info for torque on the bolts.
The correct spec is :
15 ft. lbs. plus 30°

Yeah LS1 pressure plates are stamped steel, the LT1 plates are cast aluminum..

The fork doesnt go on the bearing until everything is all bolted up except for the slave cylinder, leave the little aluminum chunk off the bellhousing where the slave goes also, then you slide the fork onto the bearing and it will lock in on the T stud.
