I am just assuming we can take the throwout bearing off. Or you can use the whole pressure plate, but it is the stock LT1 plate. Nothing wrong with it at all.

thanks b4c for the pressure plate and throwout bearing... and much appreciated


so for on the put together ive busted two bolts holding the pressure plate on its says bolt down to 52 lbs i put it on 50 and still managed to fuck them up.... looks like its guna have to get drilled out what a pain in my dick

Thats because you fucked up your research on finding the correct info for torque on the bolts.

The correct spec is :
15 ft. lbs. plus 30°

im guna have to sell my car and get a honda the way im going lol....

edit- i tightened it down to the ls1 6 speed torque numbers in the haynes manual.

Yeah LS1 pressure plates are stamped steel, the LT1 plates are cast aluminum..

The fork doesnt go on the bearing until everything is all bolted up except for the slave cylinder, leave the little aluminum chunk off the bellhousing where the slave goes also, then you slide the fork onto the bearing and it will lock in on the T stud.

yeah my bad fellas i finally got it a few days ago now, my clutch has no pressure until about 1/4 of the way down so now im replacing the master cylinder and slave.. so il let you know
