Default I got the shakes

My 91 Z28 shakes sometimes between 35 and 45 mph when turning right. I don't think it's the tires because that would be noticable at all speeds in some form. It feels to me like something is loose or broken in the steering mechanism but I don't know what to look for. Any advice?

Only when turning right would indicate to me that you have a bad ball joint or something in the front suspension. best bet is to pull the tires and look for cracked dust boots ozing grease on all the parts and any parts that ar obviously worn and shiny looking. You may want to pull and pryon things to check for excessive wear too.

3rd gens are notorious for eating up ball joints. Youll change them every 2 months

I'm guessing the ball joints are where the grease fittings are then? Thanks for the help. How tough are those to replace?

if they have grease fittings on them, they have been changed before so the hard part is done. If they havent been changed, they can be a PITA. Youll need a ball joint press and about a 1/2 day. They arent bad. I got to where I could do mine in about 2 hours for both.
