Angry Case of the shakes......

While driving anywhere from 70 to 85 mph my steering wheel shakes. I've just bought new rims and tires and I know they are balanced and I know the car doesnt need an alignment cause the car doesnt drift to the right or left when I let go of the steering wheel...... any ideas as to what the problem could be? Let me know what you have in mind. Thanks ..... Brian.

check all suspension bolts, bushings, possibly have the steering rack looked at.

if its a older crx/civic cause you dont have power steering you will have to change over your swaybar to a larger one

Just because you bought new wheels doesn't mean that they were balanced correctly. If it's only occuring at around 70mph the first thing I'd do is go get the wheels checked again.

Check your balance first, check the front end. Are your tires directional? Make sure there going in the right direction.
