Lexan windows on a DD
Coming from the guy with the ricer body kit on his Supra...
This isn't a fucking ricer trend, its a weekend warrier car that just so happens to fall into a class that require the sunroof of a vehicle to be replaced with lexan, a net, or a sheet metal or composite cover.

Also... I could care less about drag racing times. Road racing/Auto X > Drag racing.
i thought about this to help reach my <1900lbs goal, but found that i wouldnt really be saving as much weight as i originally thought. and the shits expensive, NOT WORTH IT.

You guys are going a little far to call "ricer" on a guy asking about an actual performance mod. It doesn't matter how slow the car is, what matters is whether the mod makes a difference or not, which is most the fun of doing it. At least afterwards he can come back with some actual first hand experience.
If you're road racing I'd definitely consider it. What's the cost for Civic Lexan anyway?

I see some are using FAL, yes the people that make the fans lol. They make windows and make them to look like stock with the black strip and everything. Whether or not they are as strong as Lexan is beyond me.
