Perhaps you are not understanding how business processes are different for each store. Some stores may have a policy where they cannot touch a tire if it is "X cm" close to the sidewall, and other shops may have a differeent measurement.
The hole was no where near the side walls, but thanks for your concern.

And I was going to plug it myself, but honestly I dont trust those plugs as much as the patch that can be installed at shops.

yea i feel ya about the plugs but iv used them forever with many diff tires and never had any issue (for whatever that is worth)

If I felt the hole was smaller I would of used a can of fix a flat, I have never used it but I have a can for emergency.
