I rather go to a tire shop that is owned privately. It's cheaper and less hassle with paper work. I love mounting my tires for $1.00.

I agree with the, "why do you think they work for free?" but I'd like to add, "why can't you change your own tire?" and "why would you take your car to Firestone and Pep Boys for service and expect quality?"

U just like a typical BMW driver Cant never afford shit...i work for firestone and if tire is not safe to patch or is high speed rated tire is a BIG NOSUR to repair....ur vehicle was desing for high speed if u cant afford and tire on ur BMW then go buy a kia WTF....
also have u ever work FLAT rate???? only get paid for what u do not by the hour...u expect a ASE tech..to put ur spare tire on ur BMW cuz ur fock ass cant buy a tire for free!!! WTF dude seriously GET A LIFE!!!

I am never going to a firestone.

 

He's got a 4 cylinder Z3 not an M.
The Kumho's I recommend are available for about 15 bucks more per tire for the M version of his car.
So there was never a need to spend twice as much for what the Firestone salesperson was pushing.
It's also not like used BMW's are particularly expensive either unlike when they are brand new.

 

So, did you watch them put this patch in? I find it hard to believe they dismounted the tire, patched and rebalanced for 5.99. Hell, last time I was there they were trying to charge $16 for a mount and balance. Sure they just didnt plug it while you weren't looking? ha

And also, if you asked the Firestone to "put the donut on for me and Ill be on my way" ...that is definitely a verbal agreement about a little bit of labor. Stupid, but really dude, shoulda just plugged it yourself...never had a problem with plugs running as many as 4 in a single tire on my pizza delivery car lol
