one of my hondas had a b series swap with some shit done to it and it didn't have a rev limiter. i powershifted from second to first (not on purpose lol) while I was already at about 9200 r.p.m it sounded fucking nuts. it felt just as strong (or... whatever lol) after that though luckily

If I remember correctly years ago there was an article in Sport Compact Car about the press event at the release of the RSX Type S. Went something like some reporter driving one of the cars did a full throttle 2-1 upshift (missed 3rd, went back to first) and blew the motor.

Most of the rotary failures Ive seen at the track were coming off the line, 14k and pop the clutch...the true meaning of go or blow.
