Is it illegal to drive with no hood?
I have been trying to get a definate answer on this for a while now. I had looked online and saw that required items were of course a bumper taillights headlights seatbelts etc. but never saw a hood or doors mentioned. Has anyone run into this or have an insight on it?

Driving without a hood is stupid as FUCK.

some guy pulled out infront of me in a lifted truck and slammed on his brakes. my hood and his trailer hitch had sex and made one ugly baby. Im going on a drive tonight with a bunch of guys from TR and was wondering if it was illegal for me to just drive without it.

It is legal. I went through a dui checkpoint with no hood and my car running like total ass (just finished swap..missed a dizzy wire)..on my way to walgreens cause I was sick as hell. 5 cops were all over my engine bay shining flashlights and stuff, then they told me to shut it off because they couldnt stand the fumes..I said unless you all are pushing it, I'd better leave it on.
Also ive checked before, its legal.
