I don't believe a cop would pull you over and waste his time for that even if it was illegal. I drove without mine once , because I was buying a new carbon fiber hood at the time.. I had no problems.

as long as nothing is hindering your vision and all you lights and what not works. its perfectly legal. jeeps have no doors. dune buggies drive on the streets. as long as your in the legal requirements with all working equipment.

I know someone that got a ticket for no hood. It depends on how much of a prick the officer is

It depends on if crap was flying out from the engine bay or he had things that could fall off..more likely.

if the cop wanted to be a a-hole and felt your vehicle was unsafe condition to drive, he could if that, write you a fix it ticket. that is it.

florida statute. 316.6105. look it up.

its legal.
