i drove around without a front bumper for almost a month and no cop ever said anything to me. i think it really just varies on the cop if he wants to give you a ticket for your car not being safe.

What people call a bumper is actually a bumper "cover" the real bumper is the impact bar underneath it, and that is all thats required by law to have a "bumper"

A friend of mine had a meyers manx SR that literally just had two 3" long nubs sticking off the back that qualified as a bumper.

just do it. if a cop pulls you over be nice and tell him exactly what happend and that your not trying to be "cool". bumpers are a safety thing of course you need them it states you need minimum 10mph bumpers in the law. but personally why would you want to, park it till you get a hood your gonna look ghetto as hell

i hope you dont plan on going past a 5 foot distance from your car without a hood. Your gonna go end up parking it in a parkinglot and come out to a missing distributor, battery, or Something lol...honda theifs are ruthless
