some people forget some cars came HID from factory with reflector headlights. Like the 99 Acura TL. Just depends on the Kelvin Temp for "Blinding" and "Glaring". Not every honda has ricer headlights you stupid fucks. I have 6k and they dont "Blind" anybody.

I think some people think HIDs are the jam because it's not hard to "improve" over some older stock headlights from cars in the 80s and 90s, but it's a psychological thing similar to the butt dyno, and in reality, the HIDs aren't all that better. They may not blind anyone, but most people end up with nasty hot spots and by the time you angle them from blinding people, the cutoffs are horrible.
It's definitely possible to have a workable HID setup, it's just never as good as some people think. Personally I think all car makers should step up to HID kits on all of their cars. Going from an OE HID car to one that isn't, I feel like I'm driving in the dark.

Hmm I wonder why that is? I mean, if non projector headlights were just as good, why wouldn't they just go ahead and use those? Oh that's right, because they reflect and scatter light every fucking where.
Glare is going to happen no matter what, bright light shining in your face+ darkness= hard to see.

And there's probably a reason why almost every company that offers a factory HID uses a projector headlight now a days.
