if you want the best cleanest light from youe headlight to the road its going to be 6K"6000"temp it will burn with the purest white light,so projected to the road it will reflect every lil small thing, such as signs and the road itself, yet does not have a blurring "haze" coming from it like the ricer 8K blue, where it does not have useable light, all it is,is a bright ass blue color light projected to the ground and will g;are with the human eyes,

Senor---the truth is 6000K give the most light as stated, but the 8000k gives almost as much and has a slight blueing effect but is not blue to the point that it attracts cops or anything else. The wife and I run 8000K HIDs in both our headlights and both our fog lights. The LARGEST difference is that most ricers drop them into headlights that are not made for them and the light pattern is literally scattered BECAUSE of the headlight. If you have projectors or stock HID's already you will be fine.

the reason for the lights blinding people is because HIDs arent meant for regular headlight housing and the light bounces all over the place. unlike projector headlights which contain the light with a cutoff so the light doesnt shine upwards. but i agree, 6k is probably the best for an HID conversion, a lot easier on the eyes than other temps as well.

the only HIDs I trust are OEM or proper OEM retrofits. the rest of that stuff is garbage. 4300-6000K or nothing.

4300k is going to net you the brightest whitest light, the higher the kelvin the dimmer more blue the light appears. 50watt ballast generally make the light look 1k lower than 35watt. You also cant go around trusting manufacturer after manufacturer regarding color temps, Some claim this and they are actually that compared to other brands.

as stated 3 to 6k for the best light out put without being "rice" but normal reflection bowels are not going to have cut offs, create glare, and just be rather worthless. proper projectors with cut offs or nothing when it comes to hid lighting

I'm really not worried about going fast in a $68,000 luxury car but thank you for your opinion...
