there not just miatas the car is in its own right a good sports car! it handles like a go cart and not that much bigger theres been tons of factory support fo rthat car and it one of the most use cars in scca racing next to 90-2000 proteges and honda si's but if you like street racing on drag racing it not the car for you at all. but like you said each there own

In its own right ? Its a true sports car more then any civic ever made and as much as or more then a mustang or camaro or TA(all they have is HP straight line). stock to stock the miata will kill them in the turns.

Name another car that brand new is less then 20k and has full 4 wheel double arm indepdent suspsion, with full factory adjust abilty, Caster, camber, and toe on all 4 wheels.

And no thats not a butt hurt statment,

Lol same here. I'm 6'1 and ~290 lbs. My main complaint with cars is steering wheel to seat clearance. My legs just don't fit in a lot of cars. I'm just big.

I'm always struggling to, in a panic/fast steering situation, shuffle my hands because the bottom 1/3 of the wheel cannot be used because my hand can't fit. That, or the wheel is too close to my balls for comfort
Still, the Miata is my favorite car to drive. I can't safely drive one unless it has a Sparco/Recaro style lowpro seat witha modified track. I've fit in one, and I didn't want to get out.

They need an entirely different drivetrain IMO. That or a good turbo. Otherwise yes.

I hate having to sell my miata, it really is the most "driver" responsive car I've ever owned even over my MR2. It is a blast to drive around town, and especially to the beach with your girlfriend wearing a black bikini (matches the car) with the top down. You tend to get a lot of looks. Mostly from truckers though.
