Will not ever buy another America car for all the problems I have had with them unless its a Ford Taraus. Never had a problem with a taraus. Also unless its made in the states and not in Canada or Mexico etc.. etc. and there is a guaranty on the vehicle with atleast a 10year 100,000 mile warranty that isnt just a power train I might buy it. Also It has to be AMERICAN OWNED COMPANY and AMERICAN MADE by AMERICANS Not made in China, Not made in Mexico, Not made in Brasil, Not made in Baghdad, or made in freakin North Korea. A real American made car......... I heard Chevy isnt even american anymore. I heard (Keyword: I heard)it was sold to some country out in the middle east/europe area. Wont ever buy a chevy anymore if that is true.

Anyone here anything about Bush and Obama meeting to discuss more of the plans for the rest of the bail out money.
So as it seems, Bush wants to bail out American Auto Dealers, GM, Ford, and not sure who else. Obama refused, but came up with a purposal.
GM and Ford will recieve the bail out on the condisiton that they go Green, and produce more gas effecient cars, I'm assuming.
Pretty cool/smart idea.
Not 100% sure on my facts, I read it in the news paper, and we discussed it in my Law class just now.
Just wanted to inform and discuss it on here. Please no BS comments, I want a mature thread about this simple topic.
If I've been mislead or am wrong about something, or missing something big, please let me know.

just because a car has a bigger displacement engine doesn't mean it has to sacrifice gas mileage...the LS series small blocks get great gas mileage

are you fucking high? lots of cars are made in american by americans... True a lot of cars share parts from other compaines. Dodge is building the titan for nissan, chryslers have mercedes divetrains, gto and g8 ae made in austraila...

I bet you anything there are more Foreign cars made in the states then there are Domestics.. and for the Dodge being made somewhere else.. Yea you wont see me driving a dodge. My parents when I was little used to own a 1994 Dodge caravan. Best Car I think they ever owned besides my dads pontiac Grand prix's (owned 3 of them) and he now owns a G6. After finding out these cars arent even made in the states. I wont own them. I rather own a honda civic,passport (which I do) then a car being advertised as an American car being made outside of the states.... Im an american. I deserve to drive and own a TRUE REAL american MADE automobile. Makes me wonder how the original auto owners (Henry Ford) would feel if he found out his American FORD company is being made by non-americans.
