honestly it depends ont he car, but my trucks milages drops a bit with the a/c on, I mean 2-3 mpg

the ac thing is a proven myth ON THE HIGHWAY. around town, your probly much better wiht the windows down. aerodynamic drag grows exponentially, so as the speed goes down the drag drops like a rock

I've actually become accustomed to cracking my windows about 3'' on either side and keeping the A/C off, to the point where I don't even sweat anymore. I rarely use my A/C. It does blow iiice cold though!
