Experience with Brotherz Racing
I have just had a bad experence with brotherz and trying to resolve it with alfa and it is not looking so good. I look back at this thread and wish i would of read it or seen it for that matter. it is alot more money then this item and alot more of an expencive problem to fix. If alfa does not work something out real soon iam going to be forced to take other actions.
I wanted to thank you for posting this it is something small but that is enough to give people a heads up. I feel you should not of had to deal with ups that is stupid. Your just lucky it was an easy fix.
P.s. What i find funny is that no one from brotherz posted anything in there defence. Or pm'ed you to resolve the situation and try to make you happy as a customer.

Thank you. This shop may have "claimed" to be an "authorized" distributor, but was likely not. I don't know, as I've never dealt with them. I rarely deal with anyone except for Jegs. Even then....it's not very often. I hate mail order because there are so many opportunities for mistakes to be made. The whole idea behind going to a shop to order a part is that you can take it back if it's the wrong part. Did they get the right part? It sounds like it. The OP shouldn't have had to go pick anyone up or take anyone home due to their father being drunk. The OP also shouldn't have had to go to UPS to pick up the part. The OP had to do a LOT of driving (it sounds like anyway) to get their parts in the end. The $24.96 should be refunded to them to pay for their mileage.
To play devils advocate though, as someone else posted before, Thurs., Fri., and Mon. are business days. Saturday is not. The parts would likely have been delivered on Monday had the OP not gone to pick them up at the UPS hub. *edit* The shop didn't have a money order and dropped the ball here. *end edit* Did the OP get too antsy? Or did the shop drop the ball? I dunno...I use either Genium Performance or Blue Moon Auotomotive for local contacts. Neither one has let me down yet.

A "Bad" experience is not getting your money back or the product at all...... You were refunded. You will be fine...... and for calling and bitching to Tein about the shop....shitty thing to do. FYI I don't think I know any of the guys over there and I have never done business there so I don't have any reason to stick up for the shop.
I guess the only time people have a right to complain is when their shit just gets straight up stolen. If they get terrible service and it's a complete clusterfuck, they should just keep their mouth shut.
got it
I've learned the hard way, that 99% of shops (maybe 99.9% of shops in this area) are complete garbage, run by people who have no fucking clue on how to run a business.
well, I don't see brother's on teins website as a dealer...so they aren't or the site hasn't been updated (very believable).
I've been in a shop and mark ups is the only way to keep the door open. Do people not realize that to become a dealer usually requires a "buy-in" which takes money. So, damn them for trying to get their money back. this all assuming they are an actual dealer.
on another note, UPS does suck and dealers do and can pay COD for their parts on delivery.
My old shop was dealers for darton, golden eagle, corbeau, ATP, etc...so I know first hand how this whole shitty situation can be avoided.
In the long run, you got your parts/money's worth...sorry they kept 24.06 for their own pocket.
outof curiosity how much does this identical tein setup cost on the open market shipped to you?
As for association with the shop: I don't really have one. Had talked with them last summer when dave and rob were there. I was interviewing to be a parts engineer for the shop...things fell through as they decided they didn't want to make their own products. So, no bias here but can relate to the headaches of a small shop.
