Default Nissan Plans to Prevent Dealer Markup of new GTR.

Motor Authority » Nissan’s plans to prevent dealer markups on the new GT-R

so if thats true, then its a $70K car, not 100K as some have described.. I think that its really competative against the local muscle such as Z06 and Viper not only in performance, but in price too.

Pity they are only bringing 1500 the first year.

What else goes for about $70k and is comparable in performance ?

Wow, that is really awesome.

Good too see manufacturers helping to put a stop to price gouging.

Fuck that whole "supply and demand" bullshit.

I didn't read that, the only problem I see is the 'lucky' buyers just turning them around for more when the demand is high.. causing the same problem

I read that if the car is sold within 12 months the warranty is non transferable.

I really applaud Nissan for at least trying to stop the markups and "investors"

Its cool but I fear this may lead to some long wait lists at the dealership.

This is a great plan by Nissan.

I know a guy that has a deposit on one. He put the deposit down a few months ago. He is paying sticker + dealer costs.
Last week he called a few dealers in the area and inquired about buying a gtr and the price was between 100k - 120k
