LS2 or LT1
^lol
dont go the ls2..i dont like the idea of if you drop the valve or something you have to get the block resleeved which will run you like 1000 and that not with a good sleeve.
them bores can only go like .001-.005 i think it is unlike a reg iron lq4 block which you can do .060 over max
also the ls engine make power because of the 15 degree heads much more of a straighter shot into the cylinder and also because of the valve angle and the chamber design you get better flame travel and burn and you also dont have to run a mountain of a dome on the piston to make compression which is hard to tune when using large amounts of juice.

you can run sb2.2 heads on alot of shit alex..if the block will take old school heads it will take sb2.2 heads.
curtis boggs who owns rfd has probley the sickest port design for the sb2.2 heads and his 18 degree heads are better the the bmf 18s hands down.
sb2.2 heads are not of any rookie alot of special shit has to go in and them engine run with an avg of 10 degrees less timeing total then a std 23 degree headed engine..
one i did made 880hp with out juice...put 2 stages to it and let it eat.
