thats a completely different LT1. It was built in teh 70's. nothing in the 80's came with an Lt1 as far as I know.

not really the LS2 will jsut go faster.

Why would you start with a crappier motor? "to be different, anyone can make an LSx fast." Isnt that the same school of thought as fixing up a honda?

it was mostly sarcasm, not trying to state that I'm a more noble person because I travel down the road less traveled

but in seriousness, an LT1 car and/or motor is much cheaper than an LS2 or anything LS2 equipped and so is the aftermarket, so possibly the logic could be accomplishing what you can with your means and budget

Yeah, thats the only reason I can think of to build an LT1. That or if you are a vendor and want to sell LT1 parts to schucks! LOL

For the record, Im not hating on the LT1...
