my friend has NO mufflers on his (truck 5.4L V and its LOUD!! and 3 cops in one day asked where he got it done and they said it sounded great... i go my stock muffler cut off and put a muffler in the read and it sounds great.. and noone said anything about that

I think its 5.4L not 4.8 sorry he has a 2007 Chevy Sil. Truck. Single Cab Long bed. Its Blue

They wouldn't sell aftermarket X and H pipes with dyno proven results if they lost horsepower.

 

oh yeah i called them they told me they didn't have flowmaster 40 series they said something like thrushmaster or something they can do the whole job for 350 which is cheap as hell.. i asked a few other places about what i want flowmaster 40 series with the h pipe and it varies mainly 550-600.. I talked to a guy at a shop that sells muscle car parts, and he told me unless im really into the performance it's not a huge issue not having the h pipe he said im gaining performance just putting on the 40 series so no worries and he said it should still sound great , running straight back from the manifolds to the 40 series... im getting it all done this week or next, probably next because i have that weekend off.

 

thats cheap.. my friend got his exhaust done on hes car for 350 with no Mufflers at all.. so your getting a really good deal.

 

yeah, im not going to the place that's only charging 350 though because they dont have the flowmasters thati want they will do the h pipe but give me some offbrand mufflers i haven't heard of so screw that, im getting it done for 450, flowmaster 40 series mufflers all done with chrome tips no h pipe though just straight back from the manifolds true duals ( my stock exhaust now is single so it'll be a good upgrade)
