if you already have dual exhaust ( which you probalby dont since you said its not a P71, and the only civie ones to get duals were the HPP cars) you wont see anymore power. but going from single to dual exhaust is only worth about 10hp.

Your car wont be very loud since you still have 4 cats on it. you dont have to worry about getting oulled over, my 85 vic has longtubes and Flowmaster 50's, and dumps. loud as hell and cops dont even look, even when i had the 40s on it they never cared.

yeah i've checked out other crown victorias with flowmasters on cardomain and one guy had a video of the 40 series and it wasn't real loud but it still had a mean idle , and when he accelerated it sounded real nice... and i heard the owner of the shops grand marquis that im getting my exhaust done at , his is fairly loud (not super loud) I dont think he had any converters taken off, you can hear his marquis go by you when your windows are up...

I dont want to get pulled over by the cops but i do want to hear SOMETHING lol, if it's not loud at all I might look into taking 2 catz off but i doubt it because from the crown victorias/marquis i've heard they sound good not 2 loud and not 2 quiet.

The owner of the shop told me he's not goin to put neither h pipe nor x pipe on it he said that i dont want to open my engine up like that i'll be losing horsepower that way... so idk how it's gonna sound , but he's kind of right i dont want to take away horsepower for sound, plus his grand marquis sounds badass when i heard it so hopefully im getting the same setup as him

Thats bs. Ford motors love the scavenge from an x or h pipe. put a h pipe on there. they even come from the factory with a h pipe on the dual exhaust.
