i wasnt even paying attention to what color he said.. Turbo 240 is all i caught lol
hmm... the one right next to macdill?
you need to talk to the right people at that one. I know a manager and a few of the employees and they help me everytime I'm in there. They warn us when the idiots are working so me and Brandon prank call them.

It's not a turn signal relay. It's called a "flasher." Thats why he couldn't find the exact thing you were looking for. The guy at Autozone assumed you're a retard and just looked up a flasher.

Advance and Autozone are the mc'ds of auto parts. If the parts guy knows anything about cars he would smart up and move up to a dealership or a better parts job.I remember when i worked there 5 years ago i had STORE MANAGERS call me from other stores asking me technical questions.A store manager at advance/autozone/pepboys makes what i make and i still sell parts and have no "manager" responsibilities.I quit with no notice and have never regretted it.Whenever i go to advance i start looking up OWN parts and tell them to i used to run a store so they can back the fuck up.I usually just give them the part number so mistakes arent made.
As it comes with Adv. Auto- I used to work at one in bum-fuqt NJ; and at the time I started I new the basics of cars. At Adv. they do make you take small simple tests to kind of give you a good idea what your talking about, at least enough to BS your way through a conversation.
but since working there, i've learned mucho mucho and it's what initially got me into loving cars, and becoming a gear-head.
----------------------------------------------
ADVANCE FTW.
----------------------------------------------
The autozone on Hanley / Hillsborough are filled with a bunch of people who can't speak english. I'm sorry, I need english to buy car parts.
ADV AUTO in Dale Mabry just s. of Waters Ave has a few good guys there.

PDQ ftw. i've never had a problem with them and they are much more knowledgeable (and yes, i know its discounts wholesaler/retailer)
personally, if i have to go there, i go to their website and find it myself that way i have all the info i need and they have a simple number to look up and give me my part. I've spent too much time in the store dicking around with people about parts that i need....and jesus christ, DO NOT EVER tell them you are buying anything for a motorcycle. I made the mistake of telling them the synthetic oil i was buying was for a bike (i know there is an ongoing debate over "motorcycle" oil vs. auto oil, but i would say 75% of sv650.org runs typical synth auto oil with no issues for tens of thousands of miles, as did i, and had no issues with clutch slippage or anything of the like) basically, i was told i was an idiot to my face, needless to say i got on the managers ass and made a few significant complaints and i haven't seen the guy there since and was given $100 credit for my troubles.
