fuck the store on tampa road and forrest lakes.

I get rotors and pads for the front, and go home and get to work. When I go to put the new pads in, they are CLEARLY wrong. I have to get in a different car, waste gas and time to go back up there.

When I get there they act stupid as fuck... Then they go get the next cheapest pads (which are $12 more) and you can tell they are the correct ones. I'm like well I don't have $12, I just want the correct part. The guy stands there stupid as fuck trying to figure out how to let me have them since it was the right thing to do. He leaves and comes back and says "I can split the cost with you"... It's already passed closing time and I told him I didn't have any more money. Dumb fuck. I had to get a refund (He gave me cash when I paid with a card.....uhhh) and not drive my daily driver until another store opened the next day. Dumb fucks I swear

 

Thats the one I frequent, but that's because a good friend works there, and he takes care of me every time. He's a TR member as well, and into Hondas/Nissans/Toyotas. Pretty knowledgable. Come to think of it...There are 3 members that work there...You, Jason, and Sean.

But what do you expect for peanut wages???

ive been at advance for a month and other than the store manager im almost positive i know 10 times more than the rest of the guys working there. whenever anyone has a problem with an import they are automatically directed to me. ive never had a complaint either.

autozone deff does not carry as many parts as we do but i have to admit they are cheaper.

 

Advance autoparts on Waters in Town N Country is good. A few of my friends work there and they know there shit. Autozone on Hillsborough and Hanley sux ass. I had them hold axles for me for an hour and when I come back with the money they somehow loose it. Advance FTW!

 

and they look at me funny when i swivel their computer screens towards me or gravitate around the counter to look at the screen with them

luckily the one by my house isn't too bad. you can usually tell by what is parked outside. ricey shitboxes = no go

honestly, the ones around here, if the employee has a mustang/fox body, or is an older guy with some sort of beat up truck or blazer/bronco thing, they usually know their stuff. the employees with bikes and ricey cars usually are the 'tards. just my observation. and it helps to not look like a wigger thug in a business setting, even if it IS advance.

 

its always auto zone that are the retards. the only reason i go is because they are cheaper. but im thinking its not worth it to argue with an idiot.

 

I deal with autozone, napa, and advanced daily... they all have a great share of retards working for them.

Dan, you should come by my store. We will take care of you and anybody else that comes in. I only work there in the evenings, but my manager is pretty knowledgable also, hes on here also ( Shane give me a raise )

 

its funny, coz i work a lot on one of my friends car, wich works at advance, and hes the one asking me the name of parts and what they do.
