Fanboys always bring up fuel economy for defense.

Does anybody on this site buy a car for it's fuel economy?

 

Isnt gas mileage only a worry for people with low paying jobs?

 

Those of us with any sense do.

I wish I had some when I bought this last one.

i've been sayin this for a whiiiiiiiile now.. if you cant afford gas you cant afford the car..

 

so we are all stupid because we dont give a shit about gas mileage?

 

while i love my integras gas milage, and WOULD NNOT buy a big suv due to gas milage.. i WOULD buy a vette, cobra, ect. and not care. chevy is kicking ass.. Hopefully the new "super snake" cobra is worth a shit and can keep up

 

thank god for nitrous. low 11 second LS1's still getting 25-30mpg and trapping 125+ daily.

btw, the muscle car era is by no means over, its just slightly modified. I am waiting for the DoD (displacement on demand) engines to start coming out again. 700hp and 35mpg, so yea, GM and Ford still supply us with our horsepower cravings, and the fuel economy to go with it.

 

also i saw comercials saying the 5 year 100k warrenty.. would this be counted in that?

if its a factory production car then yes.

the "super snake" on the other hand is getting outsourced to shelby to be made, so i think the lower powered one may have a warranty, but the big hp one wont.
