Not really. The strong majority of Nissan diehards are under 25 and low to middle income and drive 240s or Datsun Z cars.

Now when you make the jump over to GM diehards the # of that can afford a 70k car vastly increases.

The only ppl I see all over the car are ppl that cant afford it or even a cheap older model. At least with a corvette you can more easily afford and easily find one. It all depends on what condition you want the car in.

I dont see the GT-R being a big hit with the public, only with the magazines.

The car isnt out yet so a exact msrp isnt known yet.I think it will range between 40-70k and will attract older diehard nissan drivers.I wanna see if it will make production first.

Alot of the people the brands are trying to attract are baby boomers who are retiring right now.Skyrines werent easy to get before but with detroit bringing out 400+hp cars from the factory japan has to respond.I think the cars will be out in 08 not this year.

For $70k just give it to me fast. I would not want to have to mod a car that cost over $50k to make it fast.

so a turboed inline 4 with 450tq is practical? no fast car gets good mileage or is practical v8 or I4. if your doing this to the miata in your sig power to ya but practical no......but it would be fast.

for 70k it better be fast comfortable and jerk me off while i drive!

but seriously same price range as the z06(all hail the mighty vette) and not near the performance? also being the first year produced its probably gonna have quite a few little quirks. i already hate 350z's now i have to deal with seeing other overpriced nissans!
