so mid 12's is slow for a factory car? stock corvette-3300lbs and only 400hp/tq and it runs mid 12's all day long. and its 55-60k

If you want to do 1/4 mile times vs. price...

MSRP on a decently equiped 2007 Z51 Corvette is about $45,000-$50,000... Mid 12's

est. MSRP on SKYRINNNE is $70,000 and it runs the same? Good deal.

You have hit the nail on the head, my friend. The Z06 is approaching that price range...and well...low 11s. Just give it a new patch of ruer and instant 10s.

Yeah and the fact of the matter is, 95% people that buy 70-80k cars right of the lot DON'T give a damn about modifying them. That's why I like to argue over which car is the best right out of the box, because like I've said anything can be fast when you throw money at it.

No it isn't. Its < 50k for a baseline C6 Corvette. And again, I know you import guys have no idea what TQ is, but it really helps cars move out in the 1/4 mile.

You, like the majority of domestic guys, wrongfully assume all imports = Honda. First of all, technically European cars and Korean cars are imports as well...not Japan only. Secondly, I'm actually attempting to emulate a domestic with my project: my torque goal is 450 at the wheels, HP I dont care as much about. Granted I'm using a DOHC Inline turbo engine instead of a pushrod V roots, but thats where efficientcy and practicality come in.

Yes since I drive a nissan I dont know anything about tq especially how much tq my ford 460ci pushrod v8 will make after im done rebuilding it. I drive an import, dosnt mean its the only thing I like. again you show your ignorance in assuming i only like cars from japan.

Between a GT-R and a ZO6 i would probly choose the GM at the moment, but im going to atleast wait till the car is in production and has been tested by a few magazines to wait and call it slow and not worth the money.

Also its under the Infinity badge here and considered a Lux Sport car, i would assume they did that to make money which is what car companys are aiming to do.

If it were under the nissan badge i would expect to be a bit cheaper. just like a 350z and G35 dont cost the same but are the same chassis
