Ok so how do i go about polishing my Fat 5's. Would i use some sort of compound or polishing wheel or what?? Might sound like a stupid question to some people but i dont really feel like screwin my wheels up.

 

i would like to polish my lips too..i used 2k grit sandpaper on a small part and it just scratched it so i stopped..then i tried polishing wheels and that didnt give me the shine i was looking for either...so i would like to know also..

If they havea smooth finish already, this will work. Just remember keeping polished wheels looking good on a DD is a PITA.

 

i didnt want to have to order anything or spend to much money i was just lookin for sumthin to do today while i was sittin around.

 

I had a buddy polish his it took almost 8 hours per wheel to get it to look right. You can't do it by hand either you will need a high speed wheel at least. If you really want them polished call Glenn's Polishing in Tampa, he does great work.

 

Its not easy, and you will need to buy some things to do it.

I wouldnt start a big project unless you have the right tools and time. Or else you will just fuck shit up.

 

i have plenty of time and what tools do i need, i have access to pretty much anything since my dad owns an auto and body shop.

 

damn dude i didnt think it was that much work. Could you possibly PM me a list of the actual tools you used, Maybe even some part #'s if you got em.
