This thread is insane, I have slight A D D, can some one sum it up? : )

 

90% of the people on TR agree to cut bikers some slack.
10% think we have to do something for them before they decide to get out of asshole mode. cause they can just run us right over, there sooo cool. i want to be just like them. since when does turn signals=respect. in that 10% sums up why i think people on 4 wheels are arrogant sacks of shit who if i saw there burning car upside down, i would ride right by. cause they were obviously doing something illegal and they got whats coming to them is the thinking of the few in this thread.


cars are jealous that bikers split lanes and go to the front at stoplights. thats a benifit to having 2 wheels if you dont like close your eyes so you dont have to see us go by. other then that go cry in the back seat.

 

There is no crying involved in my backseat, except for when I "accidentally" poke her in the butt.

I have no reason to be jealous. How many threads do I start where I'm bitching about whether or not people respect me when I'm on the road?

for sure i wasnt going to let some punkass kids tell me how they deserive my respect to get theirs. if there is one thing i hope this thread accomplishes is that when you see a bike in the rear view mirrior you say i hope thats C4 hes an asshole.

all i want is for people to pay attention when they drive. its not that hard to actually look at the road. i know your all a bunch of babe magnets and the swarm you, 24/7 they blow up your cell phone so its hard to watch the road. and its a must for you to play you music lound enough that i can hear in through my helmet 10 cars away.

 

In my 9 years of driving I have never once had a problem with a biker.

Regardless of whether or not it is against the law, I haven't once ever thought ill of a biker splitting lanes or going in between cars at a redlight -- I didn't even know there were people who had a problem with this

I have bikers "in the family" as my godmother and godfather are big into Harleys, my godfather even works for Flecthers Harley Davidson and has put together local biker events for a little while now (brought in Evil Knievel and is involved some way in the Wednesday QSL bike meets). I have never been on a bike myself, but I respect why people like them and I'm extra cautious whenever a bike is around.

I didn't claim you started the thread. But it seems to me this thread was started to claim very few people pay attention to bikers on the road, when in reality very few people pay attention to anything while driving PERIOD. That goes for people driving a rascal, Geo Metro, SUV, AND bikers.

For the record I do pay attention when I drive, I don't answer my phone while driving unless I'm at a long stoplight(in which case I hang up in under 10 seconds), and my "stereo" doesn't get loud enough to even annoy the wasps that keep making nests in my doorwells.

i havent read the last 6 pages but no matter how much of a dick a biker is or someone in a car..just let him go..its still not worth a life..just drive safely..this goes to everyone..just drive the speed limit wear your seatbelt..bikes drive with EXTRA caution in full gear all the time..dont do stupid shit..if someone is being a asshole..just get out of their way..its this simple people...its just not worth anyone losing a life...
