Default Do you respect bikers?

Reason I ask this cause alot of drivers,do not respect riders.

Before I got my bike,I always gave a biker infront of me about 3 car lengths.
Before I got my bike I was riding my friends on the weekend to get the feel back.(Havent rode since 2000)

First 30 mins into the ride,I had a truck who would not get off my ass, even on a turn.

First night I got my bike,I was cut off by some dumb broad.Who was tring to get over 3 lanes to get into a turning lane, that had a red light. We had eye to eye contact in her outside mirror, and she still proceeded to cut me off.
I want to pull up to her at the light and kick her door in.

Second weekend I had my bike.I had to pull off the side (towards a median,at Hanley and Hillsbrough.)To let an ambulance go by,well once it passed,I proceeded in my turn, well a car who was driven by some young dumb bitch on her cell phone decided to take the turn with me,side by side!
The guy in the car couldnt believe she did this.I caught up with her and tried to get her attention, she knows she fucked up.Didnt want to look at me.

Well 2 days ago going to work through west chase.I saw a car inching to come out of a side road.Well the old dumb bitch does cross infront of me,and I was prepaaired, but what pissed me off the most, was she pulls to the median, and does not pull out of traffic.

These are a few instances of drivers not respecting riders, and it takes one time just for someone to screw up and loose a life,Or you migth get lucky with a bat on the window.

Do you actually look out for riders?
I know a few riders ride like dumb asses, but dont let it hurt it for the others.

I even had a guy pass me on anderson while hes going about 60 and he is holding onto the back of his bike and "surfing" on the road when there was alot of traffic.... so fucking stupid
I had a feeling that was you!

If you have a family member who rides,or you ride. You will know what to look out for. Some people who are not educated wont know what to do,and I hope this thread helps.

I give them enough room when behind them and id ont tail gate them. BUT i cant blame the people in cars for alot of the shit that happens to bikers. I dunno how many times ive had a motorcycle come up beside me at a light. from like 8 or 9 cars behind. I know its LEGAL for them to do that but its still bullshit. I almost ran over a guy for doing that. I was in front in the right lane and was waiting to turn right. He comes up beside THE RIGHT of me in the gutter. I about kicked my door open when i saw him comming up beside me like that so he would hit my door. Not to mention the dumbasses that weeve in and out of traffic and between 2 cars that are driving beside eachother. I say atleast 50% of the motorcycle accidents can completely be blamed on the rider. Just look at the nuckleheads that do stupid shit at gandy.

I respect them to a certain extent. Just there's a few that don't respect cars. What I mean by this is if I'm next to one, I like admiring their bike because I've been wanting one. But as soon as that light turns green their trying to race me. Then you have some that shift worst then someone learning to drive a manual trans on a car. What I mean by this is there's a long pause in between shifts and your going forward and the bike isn't going no where so you need to slam on your brakes before you hit them. I don't repect them when I'm sitting in traffic and they go inbetween the cars... especially if they get infront of my car after cutting a few cars off.

Thats when you pull up so that your bumper is touching there rear tire. When they try to take off they will have a suprise.
